Fairbanks' only wine guild. Designed to give wine lovers an opportunity to experience great wines in a variety of ways, we offer special tastings, education, camaraderie with other "Grape Nuts", and great prices on wines not available anywhere else in Fairbanks.

How Do I Join?

complete the application form, available from your server or the host, and return it with your $100 membership fee. Your gift for becoming a "Grapenut" is a special bottle of wine with a retail value of over $100. Membership expires one year from the date of enrollment and requires an annual renewal.

25% Discount on wines for you to enjoy with your dinner at Lavelle's Bistro
Guild members pay No Corkage Fee for all wines brought into Lavelle's Bistro.

Wine Spectator Dinners - Offered approximately 4 times a year. An opportunity to experience equisite food with expert wine pairings at special guild price.

Tuesday Tasting - Every Tuesday from September through May we offer an educational format with speakers providing insight into the wine topic of the evening. Tuesday Tasting begins at 7 p.m. when we offer guild member and guests high-end wines to sample and discuss. an RSVP by Tuesday at 3:00 is greatly appreciated. There is a fee for these tastings but we do everything in our power to keep them affordable and fun!

Special Tastings and Other Educational Opportunities - Wine guild members are able to attend at discounted rates. Frequently wine makers and wine owners come to Fairbanks and whenever possible we will offer opportunities for guild members to meet them and learn more about the wines they offer.

Rare Wine Offereings - Some wines are offered by distributors as restaurant allocations only - As a member of Lavelle's Wine Guild, our members have access to these wines and other hard-to-get bottles through the wine cellar package store - all great prices.
