The date has been finalized, and we're beginning the countdown to the Annual Amarone by the Fireside. We are officially taking reservations for this INCREDIABLE event.

Please complete the registration form and return to reserve your place for this Event of the Summer. If you do not receive a return e-mail from me, please be sure to call to confirm your reservation request.

Scott Reisland of Grizzly Bear has offered the following reservation discounts for Amarone Weekend! Amarone guest will get a 20% discount off room rate for the following: So deduct 20% off the rate posted below for premium cabins or cedar hotel.

We have Cedar Hotel Rooms. With 2 double beds, full bath, TV, in room coffee and, large glass sliding doors to private deck on river with tables & chairs. The rate per night is $192 + 7% tax for 2 adults in a room. Add another $10.00 per night for each additional adult in room. Children 12 years old and younger do no count extra in a room.

Premium Cabins have 2 double beds, full bath, TV, in room coffee and, large decks on river or up high on hill. The rate per night is $192 + 7% tax for 2 adults in a room. Add another $10.00 per night for each additional adult in room. Children 12 years old and younger do no count extra in a room.

If you are saying, “What’s Amarone By the Fireside”, please read on. Approximately 9 years ago, a few friends were enjoying some fine Amarone wine together, swapping stories, and creating memories. One of those friends remarked “I want to drink this by the fireside in Denali!” It was convenient that he and his family own a very cool resort in Denali. It was equally convenient that Kathy has incredible wine connections and owns the finest restaurant and catering business in all of Alaska. Hence the venue and party favors were set into place. Now Amarone By the Fireside just needed all of the friends. From humble beginnings to an annual happening, the friends continue to gather in larger and larger numbers each year. Last year nearly 100 people attended. The weather was stunning, the food and wine yummy, and the camaraderie created more fantastic memories. The party usually begins in the mid afternoon. It has become a great reason to go to the Park in the summer. Some people arrive on Friday night and have dinner at one of the local restaurants. Other folks arrive on Saturday. There are plenty of activities to enjoy whichever day you arrive. Horseback riding, whitewater rafting, golf, hiking, fishing, etc. Make a full weekend out of your road trip.
